It’s a happy ending for the girl next door.
Elisha Cuthbert, star of the recent ABC sitcom “Happy Endings” and movies such as “The Girl Next Door,” on Saturday married her long-time boyfriend, Dion Phaneuf, captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The two have been together for about five years, according to various reports on the wedding such as this story on People.com.

Cuthbert, 30, is from Calgary, Alberta, and Phaneuf, 28 is from Edmonton, Alberta, so the two held their wedding in Canada, on Prince Edward Island located just off Canada’s East Coast. The wedding was reportedly large, with more than 300 guests packed into a Catholic church on the island.
Cuthbert first gained fame on “24” where she played Jack Bauer’s (Kiefer Sutherland) incautious daughter Kim for three seasons (returning briefly in a later season). The marriage is the first for both Cuthbert and Phaneuf.
