American Idol” Season 12 winner Candice Glover has lost 30 pounds since she got caught up in the “Idol” whirlwind.

“Over the course of the show, from January to May, I probably dropped 20 lbs. And I’ve lost about 10 more since the finale,” Glover, told People magazine this week.

“It is always good to be healthy, so I am happy about it,” she added.

So what’s her secret? Not gym, not diet… Glover attributes her weight loss to her hectic schedule now that she’s a bona fide “Idol.”

“This weight is just dropping off because of my crazy schedule,” Glover claims. “I just walk a lot in the airports, and then we are rehearsing the choreography. I call [the rehearsal room] the gym, to be honest.”

The 23-year-old singer is currently rehearsing for the “American Idol Live!” 2013 Tour, which launches July 19, and preparing her debut album, which will be released Oct. 8.
