‘Sons of Anarchy’ Gets Season 6 Premiere Date From FX

Break out your leather jacket and get ready for some dust-ups; “Sons of Anarchy” has received a Season 6 premiere date.

The upcoming season of FX’s hit biker drama will premiere Sept. 10 at 10 p.m. with a special 90-minute episode, the network said Wednesday.

The series, which stars “Pacific Rim” actor Charlie Hunnam as biker-gang leader Jackson “Jax” Teller, who in the show’s sixth season will find his family life suffering as he pursues the more idealistic vision of the SAMCRO motorcycle club that his deceased father, John Teller, had.

Season 5 of the series was the show’s most-watched yet, averaging 6.4 million total viewers, with 4.4 million of them in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic.
