It didn’t take long for former “Fringe” star Anna Torv to land a new series.
The actress has been cast in Ryan Murphy’s new HBO pilot “Open” where she will join another star in Jennifer Jason Leigh, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The pilot is described as “a modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships,” according to the publication. Torv will reportedly play Windsor, “a yoga instructor in a long-term relationship with Holly (Jennifer Jason Leigh), but upon meeting Grace feels an instant connection.” Leigh’s role is described as an actress who is strongly committed to her career.
Other members of the cast include “Last Resort’s” Scott Speedman, who will play a sports agent named Jonathan, and “Hunger Games” actor Wes Bentley.
