“Modern Family” star Ariel Winter had a very public breakup with her mother last year, after accusing her mom of emotional and physical abuse. The judge agreed that Winter should be moved out of the home and granted Winter’s sister guardianship.
Now a judge has ruled that her mother, Chrystal Workman, won’t be regaining custody anytime soon despite denying the allegations.
TMZ reports that the judge decided that he had not seen any evidence that Workman had repaired her relationship with her teenage daughter and ruled to extend Winter’s guardianship with her older sister Shanelle Gray.
Various reports claim that Winter hasn’t even spoken to her mother since October when she was removed from her mother’s home and that she wants nothing to do with Chrystal at all as she loves being with her sister.
However, Workman still has a custody trial on deck in September for another attempt end the standoff.
