‘Ellen’ Fave Sophia Grace Hits the Big Screen in ‘Into the Woods’

First she was a viral video star, then she became nationally known after being regularly featured on TV’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (along with Rosie), now Sophia Grace Brownlee is hitting the big screen.

The young singer has been cast as Red Riding Hood in Disney’s upcoming feature film based on the musical “Into the Woods,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

The ten-year-old Brownlee joins a star-studded lineup that includes Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp and Emily Blunt. The story is about a Baker and his wife who enter a deal with an evil witch in order to have a child. Along the way, the meet up with fairy tale characters that include Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, Cinderella and Jack and his magic beans.
