‘Ghost Adventures’ Investigates Home of ‘The Exorcist’

The crew at “Ghost Adventures” are off to explore one of the most famous homes in paranormal history for its upcoming 100th episode, namely the house that inspired “The Exorcist.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Travel Channel series, which launches its 8th season tonight, will be the first paranormal TV program to explore the St. Louis, Mo., home that inspired the movie and novel for “The Exorcist.” The episode features an interview with a family member of real-life exorcist Father William Bowder.

2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the film and the episode is slated for Oct. 4 at 9pm.
