Lee Thompson Young didn’t leave any closure behind for his loved ones before committing suicide. According to new reports, the 29-year-old actor didn’t leave a suicide note behind, and his “Rizzoli & Isles” costars are now mourning his death.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that a suicide note was not found in Young’s North Hollywood apartment after he was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Monday, Aug. 19. Though The Famous Jett Jackson reportedly kept a regular diary, the entries apparently did not reveal a reason why the former Disney star would take his own life.

On Monday, Young’s publicist said in a statement to TMZ, “It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning . . . Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed.”

Following the actor’s tragic death, The Wrap reports that TNT’s “Rizzoli & Isles” has shut down production of the police drama series. Young played Det. Barry Frost on the show alongside Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander.

It is unclear how long production of “Rizzoli & Isles” will be suspended while cast and crew mourn the loss of Young.
