Much like his on-screen character Ross on “Friends,” David Schwimmer has issues with neighbors.
Residents in New York’s East Village are reportedly upset with the actor. Schwimmer purchased a 1852 Tuscan-inspired townhouse a couple years ago and then tore it down to build a new townhouse tailored for his needs. However, locals appear to have strong ties to the history of the home and are upset that the building is gone, according to E! News.
It would seem that the anger continues to bubble, as someone spray-painted “Ross is Not Cool” with an arrow on the fence surrounding Schwimmer’s East Village townhouse, which is undergoing renovations.
According to the community blog EV Grieve, the message was covered up quickly but it would seem that the resentment was not.
