“Will & Grace” forever! Seven years after their hit NBC sitcom aired its series finale, Debra Messing and Eric McCormack reunited at an event honoring veteran director James Burrows, who was behind the camera for every episode of “Will & Grace’s” eight-season run from 1998 to 2006.

Posing together on the red carpet at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences on Monday, Oct. 7, the onetime onscreen BFFs (and real-life pals) laughed and reminisced about their time on the show. “It’s good,” McCormack, 50, told Us of seeing Messing, who turned heads in a revealing black halter dress.

“The few times we have [gotten together] in New York, it’s usually just [Debra] and I having dinner, and we don’t even make a reservation,” the Perception actor said of whether he and his former cast mates ever hang out. “We just kind of walk in, and there’s always at least one waiter kind of dropping something, going, ‘Am I on TV? Is this real?'”
Asked if they have any plans to cameo on costar Sean Hayes’ new NBC sitcom, Sean Saves the World, the dynamic duo said they’d definitely be open to it. “We’ll see,” Messing, 45, teased. “Time will tell.”

“He can call us!” McCormack piped in. (Hayes, 43, was not at the event, but Megan Mullally, who played Karen on Will & Grace, reunited with her costars inside the venue.)
The two also spoke with Us about some of their favorite memories from the set of the NBC sitcom — one of which involved their craft services lady, Sandy Flowers.

“She was always serving ribs and stuff, and it was like, ‘Sandy, it’s a gay show. We have to be all slim and stuff,'” McCormack recalled. “And she said, ‘Oh, I’ll do salad tomorrow.’ And I said, ‘Great.’ And there was this salad with this warm dressing, and I said, ‘That’s gorgeous. What is this?’ She said, ‘It’s just bacon fat. It’s really simple — just bacon fat. Warm bacon fat.'”
