AMC OKs Arm-Wrestling Reality Series, Renews ‘Small Town Security’

AMC is hoping to grip viewers — and possibly pin their hands to the table — with its latest series.

The network has given the greenlight to “King of Arms,” a reality show that will “take a look inside the raw and highly-competitive world of American arm wrestling.”

At the same time, AMC said it has renewed another reality series, “Small Town Security,” which follows a family-run security and private investigation company in Ringgold, Ga., for a third season.

The 10-episode arm-wrestling series from “Deadliest Catch” producers Matt Renner and Ethan Prochnik will follow the members of five arm-wrestling clubs as they hit the road and wager their rent money, reputations and even their relationships in pursuit of victory.
