Director J.J. Abrams’ much-anticipated continuation of the “Star Wars” saga has been earning plenty of headlines before a script, shooting schedule or cast has even been established.
Besides series regulars like Harrison Ford, Mark Hamil and Carrie Fisher, fans and the press have been generating buzz about new actors who may or may not join the franchise.
“Fruitvale Station” star Michael B. Jordan has admitted to talking to producers about a role in the film. And now, “12 Years a Slave” star Chiwetel Ejiofor is reportedly being considering for the cast.
“I mean, everybody’s going in on this project. They’re trying to figure out what they want,” Jordan said back in October.
The new “Star Wars” films are supposed to pick up where the original trilogy (which concluded with 1983′s “Return of the Jedi”) left off.
