That’s not a cold front that you’re feeling, Al Roker.
To bring attention to important men’s health issues, Roker and Matt Lauer will get prostate exams live on air Thursday on NBC’s “Today.” Men over 40, of which both hosts very much are, should get regular prostate check-ups.
The month of November is dedicated to men’s health and raising awareness for issues including prostate and testicular cancer. To show their support, Lauer and Roker will visit Dr. David Samadi, chairman of urology at Lenox Hill Thursday on “Today.” The three will discuss the importance of prostate screening for men over 40, NBC said.
Additionally, the men of “Today” are participating in “No Shave November” and foregoing shaving for the month in support of men’s health.
Wisely, Willie Geist and Carson Daly are sitting out the medical procedure part.
