Happy Hump Day mi gente! It’s the middle of the week and the weekend is so close you can almost taste that icy margarita. To make the time go faster, let’s talk about what’s on TV tonight.
Over the weekend I discovered a new show that I can’t get enough of. Strangely it’s not a drama like I normally love, but a reality television show! At 8pm, TLC introduces viewers to Matt and Sarah on “Extreme Cheapskates.” Matt is a an aspiring professional wrestler who is so cheap, he uses packing tape to get rid of body hair and a cup borrowed from another wrestler. You’ll also meet Sarah, she saves money on her grocery bills by taking home leftovers from her family’s catering events.
If you like the show as much as I do, stick around for a new episode at 9pm where you’ll meet one of the best examples of an extreme cheapskate! Michael reuses his bathwater to wash his dishes and and clean his laundry. I hope his friends and neighbors watch this episode. Who knows how many of them have eaten food or had drinks that were washed with dirty water! ugh…..
Trey Parker and Matt Stone make fun of Black Friday in an all-new episode of “South Park” at 10pm. The kids prepare for an epic battle where one faction’s favorite gaming device will come out on top. Will Stan and Kyle’s friendship survive the crazy holiday?
If you rather watch a movie, “Gangster Squad” will be airing on Cinemax at 8:45pm. Ryan Gosling and Michael Peña lead an all-star cast in this action crime film about an elite police squad trying to save the City of Los Angeles against gangsters set in the 1940’s.
You’ll be hearing a lot more about Peña this spring when he brings to life an animated character named Ricky in the new FXX original series, “Chozen.” From the creators of “Eastbound & Out,” tells the story of a gay white rapper who’s just gotten out of prison.
