“Almost a year to the day, I experienced another mini stroke,” tweeted Muniz, who will be 28 on Dec. 5, tweeted on Monday (Nov. 25). “Hopefully that will be the last. Miserable.”

Following his initial stroke last December, Muniz appeared on “Good Morning America” to describe it: “I couldn’t say words,” he said. “I thought I was saying them! My fiancee was looking at me like I was speaking a foreign language.”

The 27-year-old star added, “I’m happy I’m alive.”

Muniz, who was once deemed “one of Hollywood’s most bankable teens,” chose to put his acting career on hold to pursue his dreams of becoming a race car driver in 2008. He currently plays the drums for his band, You Hang Up, and has been engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Elycia Marie Turnbow, since October 2011.
