Happy hump day mi gente! This hump day is extremely special because it’s the day before Thanksgiving— my favorite holiday. NBC seems to be a big fan as well, they have special programming tonight that will get you in the holiday spirit.
At 8pm, join Carrie Underwood and Stephen Moyer in “The Making of The Sound of Music Live.” The one hour special takes viewers into the recording studio where the country cutie and the “True Blood” hunk record the companion soundtrack to the December 5th special live presentation of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic.
Take a stroll down memory lane and revisit some of your favorite comedy sketches on “Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving” at 9pm on NBC. The two-hour special of memorable Thanksgiving and family-themed moments include “Debbie Downer”, “The Ladies’ Man,” “The Bird Family,” “Adam Sandler‘s Turkey Song,” “Martha Stewart Living,” “Ed Grimley’s Thanksgiving,” “Dysfunctional Family Dinner,” “The Loud Family,” and “Greetings from Tonto, Tarzan, and Frankenstein.”
Has anyone else noticed that “The View” has really stepped up their game ever since ABC combined forces with Univision to create the Fusion network? They’ve had a lot of fabulous Hispanic talent visiting with the ladies to discuss their latest projects or to sit in as guest co-hosts. “Despierta America” host Karla Martinez took her turn in the hot seat alongside Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy yesterday. Guest stars on the show included country singer Kellie Pickler and “The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus.
Karla participated in some really good discussion during the ‘Hot Topics’ portion including paternal rights and the current state of marriage. She also became the envy of Miami after teaming up with Sherri to check out Norman’s muscles! Check out the full episode below:
