It’s the greatest Chia Pet innovation since the “Mr. T” in 2000, and a high honor for the bearded brothers (and uncles) of “Duck Dynasty.”
Just in time for holiday gift-giving, the Robertson men are achieving Chia Pet immortality with their own beard-growing Chia planters.
And unlike the “Mr. T” — which was produced as a promotional, limited edition Chia Pet — the “Duck Dynasty” Chias are available all over the place.
Just this weekend, a special display of the four “Duck Dynasty” Chias was spotted at a Home Depot in Manhattan. They are also reportedly available at Walmart.
The “Duck Dynasty” Chias grow bushy beards from the application of seeds from the Chia plant (the medium of choice for all Chia products).
The set of four “Duck Dynasty” Chias feature terra cotta likenesses of duck-call CEO Willie Robertson, family patriarch Phil Robertson, fan favorite Uncle Si Robertson and brother Jase Robertson — all with growable beards.
They are retailing for about $16 each.
