I know it’s only Wednesday, but let’s do a flashback hump day shall we? Let’s kick off our night watching a classic episode of “El Chavo” at 8pm on Galavision. There’s no way you are even a tiny bit Hispanic and not have watched this show growing up. The 70’s sitcom follows the adventures of the title character, played by series creator Roberto Gómez Bolaños and the inhabitants of an imaginary neighborhood. Last year, the show was honored with its own line of toys featuring El Chavo and his friends Quico, and Popi currently available at various stores including Target and Amazon.
“Burn Notice” might have already said goodbye but ion television is airing an episode at 9pm tonight. In season 3 episode 14 entitled, “Partners In Crime,” Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) infiltrates the fashion world while investigating a theft at a chic design house. Elsewhere, Michael and Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) cozy up to a Polish intelligence officer in order to find information on a flight carrying dangerous cargo.
To close out our Flashback Wednesday, you should watch one of my favorite Steve Martin films, “Roxanne” at 10pm on Encore Family. The 1987 romantic comedy based on the Rostand poem, Cyrano de Bergerac, tells the story of Charlie “C.D.” Bales (Martin), the fire chief of a small American town in Colorado. He’s witty, acrobatic and skilled at many things, but he has a very large nose. He is attracted to newcomer Roxanne Kowalski (Daryl Hannah), an astronomer searching for a new comet, but she becomes infatuated with Chris (Rick Rossovich), a handsome but dim fireman who has just joined C.D.’s unit.
Did you guys hear the rumor that Eva Mendes might be expecting a baby with boyfriend Ryan Gosling? Could it be true? The Pantene spokesperson visited “The Ellen Degeneres Show” to finally talk about whether there’s any truth to the chatter. Check out the clip below:
