The Queen Bee will be a mommy!

Rapper Lil’ Kim’s baby bump was spotted during  The Blonds Fashion Week afterparty in New York City Wednesday. “I’m a mom, but I can turn it up a little!” the 39-year-old said as she rubbed her baby bump, according to E! Online. Born Kimberly Jones, the pint-size entertainer is keeping the identity of her child’s father secret. I was a bit surprised by the news, as were a lot of people. I remember Lil’ Kim when she came out with Junior Mafia in the mid-1990s and thought she was very cute and talented. A lot of people remember this image of her, compare it to her current one and wonder if she has the capacity to raise a child with healthy self-esteem. I really can’t say. What I can do is wish her, the child and the father the best.

Here’s what else is happening…
The Jacksons have been making the rounds. They hit up “The Talk” and “The Arsenio Hall Show” yesterday, talking about performing without brother Michael Jackson and performing a few hits, including one of my Jackson 5/ The Jacksons favorites, “Can You Feel It.” I always loved seeing all of the brothers hit the stage together. I was nearly in tears when I watched “The Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary Special” in 2001. And they still move pretty good, too! Tito, Marlon, Jermaine and Jackie (still, no love for Randy?!) have a “Rocktellz and Cocktails” show in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood that runs Thursdays through Sundays, beginning February 20 until April 27. Jackie said fans can expect “a high energy show.” When asked about Michael’s absence, Marlon said, “It feels great because you can feel his presence on stage. It’s like he’s right there with you.” Sweet! Watch more here.

John Singleton to direct Tupac Shakur biopic. The “Poetic Justice” director is set to rewrite, direct and produce this untitled biopic about the slain rapper and actor, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “He will begin working on a draft of the screenplay immediately, with an eye toward a summer start date,” THR states. I reported back in September that filming for a Tupac biopic was to begin this month. Antoine Fuqua previously was attached to this project. I like this for John especially since he knew Tupac from directing him and Janet Jackson in 1993’s “Poetic Justice.” Remember Pac is also headed to Broadway. Kenny Leon’s directing the Tupac musical “Holler If Ya Hear Me.” Should be nice.

The official “Think Like a Man Too” trailer has released. Check it out below. This sequel hits theaters on June 20. Haven’t seen the first film in a minute? No worries, check it out here.

On my watchlist? What I’m tuning in to see and what I’ll catch up with XFINITY On Demand…
“Scandal”: You know our favorite fixer and her Gladiators will be back from winter break in two weeks?! So why not spend tonight prepping by watching past episodes? “Scandal” will resume airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC. Catch up here.
“Think Like a Man”: I’m going to take my own advice and re-watch this. We have it available online and on XFINITY ON DEMAND™. Watch it here.

The Hot List:  Who/What’s Hot, Not
HOT: Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” is the highest charting Oscar-nominated song in more than 10 years (Something definitely to be “Happy” about!).
NOT: Nicki Minaj’s new CD cover art using Malcolm X’s image (Yeah, some people are pretty upset about this.).

HOT: Whitney Houston (She’s still HOT!)!
NOT: All of the drama surrounding “The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” brawl and how some instigators aren’t taking responsibility for their role (Tsk, tsk.).
