Happy Monday and President’s Day! Many of you have enjoyed a day off, but a lot of you are probably only just getting home after a long day. Even though the Olympics continue, there are a lot more shows starting to air new episodes at last!

Do you remember that babe Matt Lanter from the CW teen drama, “90210“? Well, he’s back on the same network with a new show entitled, “Star Crossed” premiering tonight at 8pm. The sic-fi romance tells the story of a human teen (Aimee Teegarden) and an alien (Lanter) reunite ten years after his spacecraft landed in her small town. The pair navigate deep distrust between their races and tense relations as aliens enroll in a suburban high school.

I’m hearing great buzz about this show, so I’m pretty excited to check it out tonight. They certainly had me with Lanter in the lead, but it also helps that I’m currently addicted to the network’s other romantic drama, “Reign.”

At 9pm, I will be tuning into an all new episode of “The Following” on FOX. Now that Emma (Valorie Curry) has finally confirmed her beloved Joe (James Purefoy) is really alive, what will their next move be? She seems to trust Lily (Connie Nielsen) and twins Luke and Mark (Sam Underwood), but they seem to have a hidden agenda. It’s obvious they wanted to ally with Joe’s cause, but whether they will prove friend or foe is yet to be seen. Lily managed to fool the great Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) after all. He should have really considered how she was the only survivor of the crash a little more. Come on Hardy, get it together or you won’t have a chance against Joe this season!

Make sure you record “The Fosters” on your DVR at 9pm on ABC Family. Monday’s are so tough for me with two of my favorites shows on at the same time! In episode 16 entitled, “Us Against The World” we’ll see Callie (Maia Mitchell) make a bold decision to better her future. As you saw in last weeks finale, she dumps her cutie pie foster brother Brandon (David Lambert) in exchange for joining the Foster clan on a more permanent basis. Tonight, he will make a transition that will upset her. I really hope he doesn’t get back together with Talya (Madisen Beaty) in an attempt to forget about Callie. I’m guessing he will consider moving in with his father at least temporarily to get over the sting of losing his love for now.

Speaking of daddy, Stef (Teri Polo) is called to testify in Mike’s (Danny Nucci) case and is faced with a decision that could mean losing her job. Now that she and Lena (Sherri Saum) have decided to try for a baby, she can’t afford to be without her job. I don’t see her as the type to lie in a court of law, so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Marla Sokoloff will make her debut on the show in the role of “Hurricane Dani,” Mike’s new sober coach and love (lust?) interest. Surely there are rules against that in real life no?
