I admit I was so dismayed by the behavior “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast members displayed in recent episodes that I wasn’t in the mood to watch the reality show’s star NeNe Leakes make her debut on “Dancing with the Stars” Monday. Seriously, I just didn’t have the energy (if you’ve seen the show, you know where I’m coming from). But, I did catch part of the broadcast later online and my attitude had softened toward the statuesque contestant. She definitely was more palatable, obviously in a better place than on “RHOA” (I guess you would be, too, if you’d gotten into it with your cast mates) NeNe and her dancing pro partner Tony Dovolani did OK during the “Dancing with the Stars” season 18 debut. “I love your energy, I love your enthusiasm,” judge Bruno Tonioli told the beaming NeNe. They received a total of 21 out of 30 votes. Not bad. Will these two do it for me like last season’s winners Amber Riley and her pro partner Derek Hough? Perhaps. Check out their fancy footwork below.

Here are a few other videos that caught my eye…
We can’t talk about the “Dancing with the Stars” season 18 premiere without mentioning 76-year-old Billy Dee Williams! Check out his debut below.

Take a look at this “The View” clip of a glowing Whoopi Goldberg as she talks about her great-granddaughter who was born over the weekend.

On my watchlist? What I’m tuning in to see and what I’ll catch up with XFINITY On Demand…
“The Tomorrow People”: I turned in very early last night and will be watching this tonight. It’s moved to a new day, Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on CW. Watch it here.
“The Following”: I’m still playing catch up. It got a little creepy for me so I took a break. Will resume tonight. It airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on FOx. Watch it here.
The Hot List: Who/What’s Hot, Not
HOT: NBC’s new drama “Crisis” starring Lance Gross. (I found myself pretty engaged with the action. Check it out!)
NOT: The possibility that James Larry Cosby could have violently murdered his daughter, Britney Cosby, and her girlfriend Crystal. (Very unfortunate.)
HOT: President Barack Obama honoring 24 servicemen—Hispanics, Jews and African-Americans—with the Medal Honor after years of not getting their due. (That’s one way to right a wrong.)
NOT:The horrible experience Countess Vaughn, star of “Moesha” and “Meet the Parkers,” had with lace-front wigs. (o_O)
