I just realized that the month is nearly over! In less than one week, we will be wrapping up the month and I think the reason time has gone so fast is due to the World Cup. But enough of the futbol madness that has taken over my house. What will be fresh and new to watch tonight?
“Pretty Little Liars” is airing the third episode of season five entitled, “Surfing the Aftershocks” at 8pm on ABC Family. Tonight, Alison (Sasha Pieterse) has trouble dealing with her mom’s death, and her friends must go along with her newest lie. Meanwhile, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) try to piece together info about Jason (Drew Van Acker); and Hanna (Ashley Benson) questions her own identity in the wake of Alison’s return.
Head on over to TNT for an all new episode of “Rizzoli & Isles” at 9pm. A traumatized, blood-covered woman arrives at the station, claiming she killed someone but forgetting the identity of the victim in the episode entitled, “…Goodbye.” Elsewhere, the team mourns the loss of a friend and colleague.
Guess what show is back at 10pm?! “Covert Affairs” returns with the season five opener entitled “Shady Lane” on USA Network. I’m not sure how they plan to beat the awesomeness of season four but I have a feeling they will at least get close. Tonight you’ll fine Annie (Piper Perabo) and Auggie (Chris Gorham) thinking about the future just as a connection from the past resurfaces and leads Annie on a race against time to prevent a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Elsewhere, tension mounts between Calder (Hill Harper) and Joan (Kari Matchett) as they wait to see who will become the new boss; and Arthur (Peter Gallagher) thinks about a career in the private sector.
I’m still hoping that Teo Braga (Manolo Cardona) is somehow alive and well somewhere. I know it might be too much to ask but I love Manolo Cardona and would love to see him back in the action as well as building a relationship with his father Arthur and new baby brother. #daretodream
It’s pretty amazing how times have changed since I was a kid growing up. I remember summertime was a time of torture because all my favorite shows were on hiatus. But with the return of “Suits,” “Covert Affairs,” and “True Blood” I’m a pretty happy camper!
Speaking of “Suits,” if you missed episode two last week, make sure to watch it below ahead of tomorrow night’s airing:
