Are you missing your Monday fix of reality dating now that “The Bachelorette” has wrapped? Fret not. Tonight at 8pm, ABC will premiere “Bachelor in Paradise” featuring castaways from the aforementioned “The Bachelorette” and “The Bachelor.” The former contenders will get a second chance at love as they explore new relationships in an isolated Mexican locale. In the opener, eight women and six men arrive on the island. At the first rose ceremony, each man chooses one woman, and the two ladies left without flowers are sent home.
I’ll be tuning in mainly for Marcus Grodd, thank you very much.
A serious tone continues to hover over “The Fosters” at 9pm on ABC Family. Tonight, Callie (Maia Mitchell) does volunteer work at Girls United, where she learns that neighbors want the girls removed, and one resident harbors a dangerous secret. Elsewhere, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Hayley (Caitlin Carver) prepare a romantic meal for their dates; and Ana (Alexandra Barreto) sends Stef (Teri Polo) a troubling letter.
I know this is wrong to say but I’m kind of disappointed that Mike (Danny Nucci) didn’t really kill Ana in a drunken rage. She’s the only character on the series that is out of place. I don’t feel like she really adds anything to the show and I wish she’d permanently go away.
There’s a new reality show premiering on Bravo tonight at 10pm. In “Jersey Belle,” New Jersey entertainment publicist Jaime Primak Sullivan tries to adapt to Southern life after moving to Alabama in the series premiere of this fish-out-of-water reality show. Also: Jaime bonds with a group of Southern belles, but announces she’ll miss one friend’s wedding due to a work commitment.
