Donald Trump has moved on from endorsing Mitt Romney for the GOP presidential race to putting his weight behind Century 21 in a new Super Bowl ad. But the Donald’s latest collaboration takes a playful dig at the famously egocentric real-estate mogul’s negotiation skills.

After the runaway success of last year’s “The Force” ad (which we prefer to call “Little Darth Vader”), Volkswagen has created a sequel of sorts, to air during the Super Bowl. The spot starts out innocuously enough, with a house-bound dog wanting to chase the new Beetle but finding he’s too big to fit through his doggie door. A montage shows what he does to fix the situation.
This weekend, the nation gets a chance to see 30 seconds of David Beckham in his knickers, as he’s done an ad promoting his “Bodywear” line at H&M.
Matthew Broderick isn’t the only big star with a Super Bowl ad, of course. While Honda’s “Ferris Bueller”-inspired ad is burning up YouTube, their luxury brand Acura also has an extended Super Bowl ad out, starring Jerry Seinfeld.
