George Stephanopoulos doesn’t really get days off. He gets hours. The co-host of ABC’s “Good Morning America” during the week and host of the Sunday political talk show “This Week” has both shows at such competitive crossroads this spring that his bosses are reluctant to give him time off.
ABC’s “Good Morning America” outperformed NBC’s the “Today” show for the first time in 16 years, drawing 31,000 more viewers last week than its rival in the lucrative television morning show market.
