Despite the sadness that hung over the Grammys Sunday night after the untimely death of Whitney Houston, there were still a number of high points during last night’s show. But there was no doubt that it was Adele’s night.
Soul singer Adele triumphed in her return to music’s stage on Sunday, scooping up six Grammys and winning every category in which she was nominated including album of the year for “21” and best record with “Rolling In the Deep.”
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at the 2012 Grammy Awards, joining Adele, Paul McCartney, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj on the music show lineup.
