For Black History Month, XFINITY CelebrateBlackTV.com will highlight the accomplishments of three female innovators–“Selma” director Ava DuVernay, “The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl” Issa Rae and digital strategist Luvvie Ajayi, whose blogs “Awesomely Luvvie” and “Awesomely Techie” are very popular.
If there’s a girl who’s on fire, it’s definitely Issa Rae. The filmmaker won our hearts when she debuted her hilarious award-winning web series “The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl” three years ago.
