Some horses used in the production of HBO’s new horse-racing drama “Luck” weren’t so lucky — two of them broke legs during the filming and had to be euthanized.
The new Dustin Hoffman series “Luck” has been renewed for a second season by HBO, the network said on Tuesday.
“Luck” has all the ingredients for must-see premium TV. The HBO drama was created and written by David Milch (“Deadwood”), directed by Michael Mann (“Heat”), and its marquee boasts Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte.
