It’s that time of year again! The American Black Film Festival, ABFF, kicks off its 18th annual jubilee, with four days dedicated to the very best in black cinema and TV.
As much as I love watching new shows, I hate when I fall in love with one and it ends up getting cancelled. Tonight, the last two episodes of “Growing Up Fisher” will air on NBC during the 8pm block.
The first half of 2014 is turning out to be a busy one for Taraji P. Henson. Though she’s no longer starring in CBS’s “Person of Interest,” the Oscar-nominated actress just wrapped taping a pilot for Fox’s Lee Daniels drama, “Empire,” and she’ll soon be promoting “Think Like a Man Too,” which premieres June 20.
