Aretha Franklin

Known as the "Queen of Soul," Aretha Franklin has won 20 Grammy Awards, mostly in the R&B genre. Franklin received her first two Grammys in 1968 for her signature song "Respect." The song won best R&B recording and best female R&B vocal performance. In the '90s Franklin also received the prestigious Grammy Legend Award and the Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award. —XFINITY Entertainment Staff
