Queen Latifah

The career of Dana Elaine Owens, better known as Queen Latifah, began with the Fox TV series “Living Single” but it was her role in "Chicago" that helped her rise to stardom. After her success in "Chicago," Latifah took part in movies such as "Hairspray," and "Life Support." Both movies received international praise. Latifah's most recent movie was "Joyful Noise,” which was released in 2012. Latifah’s work has won her a Golden Globe, a Grammy, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Image Awards. She has also talked about working on another hip-hop album. —XFINITY Entertainment Staff
