'American Idol': Then & Now

19 of 55

Season 2 - Clay Aiken

Aiken saw major success following his second-place finish on "Idol." In fact, he was offered a recording contract with RCA records, along with winner Ruben Studdard. The singer was also the runner-up on the fifth season of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice." He recently released "Steadfast," an album of songs only sung in concert, in March of 2012. Since, Aiken has become very involved politically. In 2014 he won the Democratic primary in North Carolina's 2nd congressional district election, but lost the general election in November. —XFINITY Entertainment Staff (Photos: Getty Images)
