'American Idol': Then & Now

4 of 55

Ryan Seacrest

In 2002, Seacrest accepted the position as co-host of the reality TV series "American Idol" with comedian Brian Dunkleman. Dunkleman quit after the first season and "American Idol" went on to have phenomenal success, putting Seacrest in the national spotlight. He currently hosts his own radio show, produces several reality series, recently helmed the NBC game show "The Million Second Quiz" and has returned for the 15th and final season of "Idol." —XFINITY Entertainment Staff (Photos: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)
