Duane 'Dog' Chapman
A&E reality star Duane “Dog” Chapman was bounced from television due to the fallout from a 2007 phone call to his son Tucker. The recorded conversation captured Chapman expressing frustration that Tucker was in a relationship with an African-American girl. Why? During the call, “Dog” admitted that he and the family use the N-word, and explained he didn’t want the young woman going public with his slurs and ruining their career. Shortly after the phone call was released, “Dog the Bounty Hunter” was put on hiatus. The show returned to production several months later, but the damage to the family’s reputation had already been done. —XFINITY Entertainment Staff (Photo: Jemal Countess/Getty)
