In 2008, “Party Rock” singers Stefan Kendal Gordy and Skyler Austen Gordy were denied the chance to trademark their group name, LMFAO, because it "consists of or comprises immoral, deceptive or scandalous matter." The group shot back, claiming that the acronym actually stands for “Laughing My Freaking Ass Off,” not “Laughing My *Expletive* Ass Off,” as previously assumed by the U.S. Trademark Office. The case is still pending. —XFINITY Entertainment Staff (Photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images)
