'Gran Torino'

In 2008, Eastwood finally returned to the big screen in 'Gran Torino.' The film was a hit and made 78-year-old Eastwood the oldest leading man to reach number one at the box office. The story is about a recently widowed Korean War veteran who is alienated from his family and angry at the world. His neighbor tries to steal his prized 1972 Ford Gran Torino on a dare which leads to a relationship between Eastwood and the boy's family. Eastwood stated that this was the last movie he would act in. —Xfinity Entertainment Staff
