7. 'The Office' - Dunder Mifflin Sells Out

While Michael Scott's departure was the death knell for "The Office," the beloved sitcom jumped the shark a full year before he left Scranton.

Midway through season six, amid financial turmoil, Dunder Mifflin Paper Company is bought out by a Florida-based paper company called Sabre.
