'How Long, Not Long (Our God Is Marching On!)'
The Civil Rights Movement peaked in 1965 with an event that came to be known as Bloody Sunday, the first attempt to march from Selma to Montgomery. Local police attacked the 600 marchers, but the protestors persisted and on their third attempt, they completed the long march. MLK gave this speech after they successfully reached Montgomery. —XFINITY Entertainment Staff
