Jerry Seinfeld

Position: Telephone Salesman

Jerry Seinfeld is one of the most successful comedians of all time, but that doesn't mean he is immune to having an embarrassing past resume. "I was a telephone salesman pitching light bulbs," Seinfeld told People magazine. "It was 1976, and I was just looking for some grocery money. I hated the job, it was horrible… I only had the job a couple of weeks and knew it was time to leave as soon as I could afford a loaf of bread." —XFINITY Entertainment Staff (Photo: Theo Wargo/Getty)
