Bruce Wayne/Batman: 'Batman,' 'Batman Forever' and 'Batman & Robin'
The first Caped Crusader movie series began in 1989 with Michael Keaton playing the lead in "Batman" and "Batman Returns." When Keaton turned down the third film, "Batman Forever," Val Kilmer snagged the lead role of Bruce Wayne and his alter ego. Kilmer, in turn, did not come back for the fourth film, "Batman and Robin," and was replaced by George Clooney. Kilmer said he was offered the part, but had already committed to another movie. However, director Joel Schumacher said he didn't want to work with Kilmer and claims that is why he wasn't in the film.- XFINITY Entertainment Staff (Photos: Warner Bros.)
