The Easter Sunday trade that sent quarterback Donovan McNabb from Philadelphia to Washington had ramifications for this year's draft, and created numerous questions.
After visiting with Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen, the Redskins pulled the trigger on the McNabb deal, also knowing it would take too much to pry the first overall selection away from the Rams, who appear set on taking Oklahoma's Sam Bradford.
The Redskins still have the fourth pick in the first round, but don't pick again until round four. An upgrade to the offensive line seems prescient.
Meanwhile, in an offseason in which the Eagles have jettisoned salary and added draft picks (they have seven in the first four rounds), they also could be looking for another quarterback, whether it be a veteran or in the draft.
