2014 NFL Draft: Team by Team Recap

23 of 32

Oakland Raiders

Did any team have better players fall into their lap at each respective pick? General manager Reggie McKenzie must’ve been pleasantly surprised to learn that Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack was available at No. 5 overall. Mack is a versatile player, who can play with his hand in the dirt in a 4-3 and rush the passer as an outside linebacker in the 3-4. He also has great range and soft hands. Then, the Raiders pulled the trigger on Derek Carr on Day 2. Carr will have a chance to learn the nuances of the offensive behind Matt Schaub. (AP Photo/Eric Risberg)
