Baseball's Highest-Paid Players in 2013

10 of 12

#2 Derek Jeter

Earnings: $26 million
Salary: $17 million
Off-field: $9 million

The Yankee captain had an $8 million player option for 2014 that rose to $9.5 million when Jeter won the Silver Slugger award in 2012. The option would have jumped a further $2 million if Jeter finished in the top six of the MVP voting (he finished 7th). Jeter remains the sport's top pitchman with deals with Nike, Gatorade, Ford Motor, Movado, Steiner Sports, Rawlings, 24-hour Fitness and Avon. (AP Photo)
