When the Reds pitcher walked into a Macy's department store on a Monday afternoon in Cincinnati, he was looking to add a few new items to his wardrobe. For whatever reason, though, he allegedly wasn't planning on paying for them. Five hours before his team faced off against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the 23-year-old was stopped by store security and later arrested by police who allege that Leake removed the price tags from six t-shirts valued at $59 and tried to leave Macy's without paying. He now faces a maximum of 180 days in jail if convicted of misdemeanor shoplifting.
