Christian Ponder/Joe Webb 2012 summary:
Ponder was dreadful for most of his second NFL season. His best attribute was committing only two turnovers in the final four games as running back Adrian Peterson and the defense carried Minnesota into the playoffs. Outlook:
Vikings management says it’s all-in with Ponder as their franchise quarterback. He still must make some significant strides in 2013, which would be made easier with the return of a healthy Percy Harvin, the development of Jarius Wright and further additions to an otherwise lousy wide receiver corps. Webb, too, must show progress. He flopped when thrust into a last-minute starting spot in place of an injured Ponder (elbow) against Green Bay. —Alex Marvez
