Worst Career-Ending Injuries

4 of 11

Kevin Everett

TE Kevin Everett was a two time first-team All-Southwest Junior College football conference pick, ranked the second best junior college player in the nation, caught 18 passes for 310 yards and had two touchdowns. He then transferred to the University of Miami and was picked up by the Buffalo Bills. Everett wanted to make an impact in the NFL, but never got the chance. In Week 1 of the '07 season, Everett sustained a neck injury while attempting to tackle Denver Broncos' Domenik Hixon. After several months of rehabilitation he was able to walk, but not to return to football.(AP Photo/David Duprey)
