White Wipes Out

The 1982 NFC Championship Game between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers was a classic known to this day as 'The Catch' game. But even after the Joe Montana to Dwight Clark now legendary play, the Cowboys still had a chance to win. With 51 seconds to play, Dallas got the ball and quarterback Danny White hit Drew Pearson on a deep pass. But two plays later, White was sacked by Lawrence Pillars, fumbling the ball and catapulting San Francisco to a victory that began its dynasty. (AP Photo/WFH)
