QUICK NOTE: XFINITY.com is the place to be for all of your bug-eatin’, back-stabbin’, “Survivor” coverage. During the season we’ll have insightful weekly Power Rankings with Reem Daly and Aubry Bracco, exit interviews, and full episode recaps. Follow me on Twitter (@gordonholmes) for up-to-the-minute updates.
The Rules: Each week our combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the players will earn. For example, if Tom is voted out this episode, Reem and Aubry will receive eleven points and Gordon will receive fifteen points. At the end of the season, the team with the most points will be named the “Survivor: Island of the Idols” Power Rankings Challenge Champion!
Last Week: Reem Daly and Aubry Bracco had Molly in spot five, while Gordon Holmes had her in spot twelve. So, the current score is Team EOE: 5, Team Holmes 12.
Quick Note: Rankings are not based on who the player thinks is most likely to win. The smart strategy is to rank players based on how safe you think they are in the upcoming vote.
Reem and Aubry’s Score: 5
Gordon’s Score: 12

Aubry: Idol find? Check. Creatively hiding it? Check. Staying with the numbers? Check. Just don’t get flat-footed and pull a me!
Reem: That girl is no dummy. I like her. I think she is smart, yet is giving the impression of being vulnerable to her tribe.
1. Chelsea: Fire makin’, heart breakin’, idol takin’…OK, maybe no heartbreaking that we saw on TV, but surely “Survivor” fans across the country are swooning.
Aubry: Sneaky, sneaky! I’m feeling like this girl could be the second coming of my dear Wentworth!
Reem: I mean, Wentworth didn’t suck.
2. Kellee: The way she broke down emotionally and dumped her bag and offered to strip when she got back to camp? Brilliant. And then to have it hidden in her hair? Double brilliant. And the fact that she now knows to LISTEN to her tribemates? She’s unstoppable.
Aubry: The thing I like about Tommy is it’s not the moves he’s making, it’s how he’s doing things. The “how” he does things means he can do what he wants and everybody is fine with it.
Reem: Yes, that true. Commit to “smart” – it could be a winning strategy.
3. Missy: I love that you’ve been reaching out to people on the bottom. To do that without drawing attention to yourself is next-level gameplay. I’m liking my winner pick more and more each week.
Aubry: She’s not making waves this week.
Reem: Keep training for the “Survivor” Olympics.
4. Tommy: You were on the right side of the vote, but it cost you two allies. Hopefully you can mend fences with Jamal and Jack, because they’re potentially going to be around for a while.
Reem: I like Missy because she seems like someone I would be friends with. She just seems real.
Aubry: Can I be her friend too?
Reem: I’m mean, duh.
Aubry: Missy makes an effort to keep her door open to almost anyone. That’s a social move that will pay dividends down the road.
5. Karishma: We didn’t get to see much from you this week, but it seems like the Lairo Ladies are in complete control.
Aubry: She’s got a way about her. Friendly vibe and precision maneuvers could keep her in the game for some time to come.
Reem: I only dream I could have played with her instead…
6. Janet: Lauren’s going to get the credit for last week’s vote, but you get the benefit without drawing too much attention to yourself.
Aubry: Solid as a rock. Keep rocking it, sister.
Reem: Keep that fire burning, girl.
7. Elizabeth: I’m going to say this again; why did Chelsea get that awesome fire-making moment when you literally just came in second place in a fire-making competition? Anywho, you’re probably safe for a while.
Reem: Girls run the world.
Aubry: She’s on the the right train, and leaving the talking to someone else can be a good thing to do for a week or two.
8. Dan: It looks like you’ve done a complete 180 from your disastrous premiere episode. And it sounds like you made good with Molly. Well done.
Aubry: I’ve got a feeling that when he speaks, it’s going to be good.
Reem: Depends on what he says.
9. Elaine: You’re snug in the middle of an alliance that has physical threats and immunity idols. I think it’ll be smooth sailing for you for a while.
Reem: Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver but the other gold.
Aubry: True that, Reem. I’ve been there. It sucks when you’re not happy with the vote, but don’t be so unhappy about it that you make yourself more of a target than you already are. “Survivor” moves fast, things change on a dime. Don’t contribute to a bad vibe.
10. Dean: Hey, buddy.
Reem: Stick with the girls.
Aubry: From what I’m seeing, they’re the shift you want to be on this season.
11. Jason: The good news is your idol hunting issues are probably a thing of the past. The bad news is your right hand is someone who isn’t capable of acting in her own best interests. That’s a tough person to partner with.
Aubry: After a good first impression, sometimes it’s okay to keep it quiet for a week or two.
Reem: Agreed. Stay who you are.
12. Jack: So, things didn’t go your way…but it seems like you’re well liked and we didn’t hear much from you at Tribal. I’m thinking Jamal will take more heat over this whole ordeal.
Reem: Keeping your hands to yourself may keep you around longer.
13. Lauren: Was getting rid of Molly the right move? Who knows? It’s early. But, you made a plan, put the pieces in place, and made it happen. That’s to be commended. Now we have to see if you’re too high above the radar.
Aubry: I’ll give him credit. He managed to neutralize himself.
Reem: Agreed, and Lauren is his best friend!
14. Aaron: There’s going to be a good argument to keep you around as long as challenge strength is important. But, the dominant alliance in your camp seems rock solid. So, I wouldn’t push against them too hard.
Reem: Play the field!
Aubry: Agreed. Your team got a red card last week.
15. Tom: I hope you don’t get too upset when women are better at you than things. Because aside from starting fires, at Lairo beach they’re also better at forming alliances, finding idols…
Reem: Silence is gold. I wouldn’t know. Ha ha.
Aubry: Ha! Vince, we know how angry you were at the other vote, the problem is your tribe does too. Try to cool it down, Vince.
16. Jamal: You got caught in the wrong gear, but the game is still young and you’re still useful in challenges. If you play your cards right, you can get back into this thing.
Aubry: Debbie, is that you?
Reem: Note to self: do things quietly. Don’t advertise. Don’t complain. Look inside yourself, Clarice.
17. Noura: You’re either going to go soon or somebody is going to take you to the end Sheppard-style.
Aubry: Snoozing could lead to losing. It’s time to wake up! I want you to stick around.
18. Vince: The way you went after Aaron after Tribal tells me everything I need to know about your game. Yeah, you got votes, but the heat isn’t on you. Sit back and relax. Honestly, you’re probably safe, but I have zero faith that you won’t do something ridiculous to put yourself in a bad situation.
